Pick Your Plots

My name is Jasmine and I‘m your tour guide! I will be taking you through the many aspects of Pick Your Plots! Like our tag line says we are “Your #1 Source for entertaining plots from Classic TV, Movies and more!” It is going to be an E Ticket ride, so sit back, buckle your seat belts and enjoy the ride!

Right out of the gate we have Animation. In this category we have such oldies as Felix the Cat and Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. How long has it been since you have seen a Felix the Cat episode? I bet it has been a long time! Well, now you can watch the whole series right here on Pick Your Plots!

Next, we have our Books. In this category, you will find things such as classic children’s books like Mary Poppins and Pippi Longstocking as well as The Phantom Tollbooth and Roald Dahl books (the best-selling children’s author including such books as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). We will also have more current books and books by Dennis Moore.

Then we have Comics. This is my favorite category because I just love all of the super-hero movies that are being made from the comics of DC, Marvel and Harvey. You will be able to read all of the comics from yesteryear right here. This category will also feature the Sunday funnies, so: Peanuts, Garfield, B.C., Blondie, Beetle Bailey. We will be posting the latest comics, and displaying the archives. Where else are you going to find such a wide array of comics except right here on Pick Your Plots?

Our next category is Movies. In this category we feature full movie such as Star Wars Begins – The Complete Documentary, Zorro – The Gay Blade, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Anyone want a mountain of mashed potatoes?

Now we come to Old Time Radio. This category is going way back to the days before television. We will have the history behind these shows and some informational articles. But this is going to be very unique as we will have streaming episodes and novelizations written by Dennis Moore.

This next category is going to be real fun. It is the Pick Your Path category. Why do I think it will be fun? Let me tell you. You will read the book, but not in order. You will start on page one, but then at the bottom of the next page, it will give you three choices to make. Your choice determines what page you turn to next and therefore what happens next. Each choice brings you to a different page, a different set of choices, and so on, until the end of the story. Each story has anywhere from 24 to over 50 different endings. Thus, you could read the same story over again many times and have a different story each time. Pick Your Path is based on this concept, only it is web based and instead of you reading, you watch a video clip and make a choice as to what the next video clip will be. When all the choices have been made, you will have watched a movie that you controlled the outcome of. Sometimes the hero wins, sometimes the hero dies. I told you it would be fun! And where else can you view a movie that you have control over besides on Pick Your Plots?

Short Films is our next category. In this category you will be able to view short films by VigilEfforts and Unleash Video. VigilEfforts is showcasing the works of master short film artist Mark Vigil. Unleash Video is a collection of different short films by various filmmakers.

This brings us to our final category, and that category is Television. In this category we have all of the Saturday morning cartoons from all of the Krofft Shows like Sigmund the Sea Monster and H.R. Pufnstuff to the Scooby Doo and The Jetsons. You can also see shows such as The Secrets of Isis, American Bandstand, The Incredible Hulk and The Greatest American Hero.
